Day 16 - Idaho Falls, Idaho to Jackson Hole, Wyoming

A short day, but a beautiful drive!

Report after doing a Speed Test at an old drag strip and a long Regularity on a severally rutted dirt road:

Our time on the Speed Stage was very acceptable and we were 1 second early on the Regularity Stage…both good numbers.

And then we were off to the Teton Pass for a ride across the Tetons into the valley that hosts Jackson Hole.

We arrived in Jackson Hole around noon and went into town to look around. Lots of high end stores; cowboy clothes; hats; boots; knives and jewelry. I would have bought something, but we literally have no room in the car.

We did make a pilgrimage to the Cowboy Bar (where the bar stools are cowboy saddles) and to the Antler Arch.

The views and scenes from around these parts are spectacularly beautiful.

Many years ago, I was up here and went river-rafting on the Snake River (lots of fun), but this time I’ll try to stay dry.

Cowboy Bar in Jackson Hole. The bar stools are
real horse saddles. Very cool. Been here since 1937.
